Paying for Your Own Treatment
If you want to see one of our therapists quickly, and you don’t have health insurance, you have 2 options that by-pass the NHS waiting lists:
- Pay for treatment yourself
- If you have a cash plan (e.g. Simply Health, Health Shield) you can pay for your treatment and reclaim a portion of the costs or a set amount per year by submitting a receipt to your cash plan provider*. Our receipts are suitable for all of the cash plan providers and all of our therapists are suitably qualified to their requirements.
Whichever option that you choose, you don’t need to wait for an appointment and nor do you need to see your GP first. All you need to do is to call us and make an appointment and we’ll get you in as quickly as we can, with an appointment time that is convenient for you, and with a specialist in your problem.
We accept cash, cheques and all major card types (excluding AMEX) and payment is due after the end of each treatment session. We can produce a full receipt for your records if you need one.
If you have already seen your GP, then they can write us a letter if you would prefer, but it is by no means essential. We usually write to your GP after your initial assessment and let them know what we have found and the treatment plan that we have discussed with you (with your consent, of course).
If you are self employed, you can often put your treatment through your business as an expense, if it is treatment that is vital to you being able to continue to work. Please check with your accountant regarding your own specific circumstances, then ask us for a receipt at the time of payment, which you can include with your receipts.
